The Phi Phi Islands, also known as Koh Phi Phi, are in the middle of the Andaman Sea, 42 km from Amphoe Mueang. It is part of the Nopharat Thara Beach – Phi Phi Islands national park, which has two big islands, Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Le, and four smaller islands nearby, Koh Yung, Koh Mai Phai, Koh Pida Nok, and Koh Pida Nai.
Iron, wood, rubber, and shorea are the principal materials that cover the islands. Chanpha, rattans, banyans, and many kinds of vines are additional trees.
